What To Expect During A Tooth Extraction

At the time of extraction the doctor at Advanced Dental Center will need to numb your tooth, jaw bone and gums that surround the area with a local anesthetic. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during this phase of the process so we will always ask how you are doing to ensure comfort. During the extraction process you will feel a lot of pressure in your mouth and specifically the area where the work is being done. The pressure is caused by the tool rocking your tooth back and forth to create a loser area to get the tooth out of it without further damage being caused. You shouldn't feel any pain during the process due to the numbing medicine and anesthetic we provide in the beginning. If you do feel any pain or discomfort please let us know.
